Northern Inferno playable from both sides?

Command: Northern Inferno is a DLC for Command: Modern Operations. Set in 1975, the Cold War is omnipresent and beneath the veneer of détente the tension between the two superpowers irreversibly escalate towards the ultimate confrontation.

Hi all,

Need to know before purchase.
Is Northern Inferno playable from both sides (e.g. non-NATO) in campaign and/or single mission?

With the special on..i'm thinking to purchase NI.
Are there any further updates foreseen or is title complete now?

Yeah, except bug fixes, I don't think we'll see anything more added to NI
