Were these launched from B24s? Dont see it listed. the ones in Europe were released from B24's.

Always thought a PBJ was a sandwich :-)

The B24's I mentioned above were used in Europe to drop wireless guided bombs not to fly drones.

I assume you are referring to the AZON guided bomb. That was also dropped from B-24s in Burma and
with reportedly better results than in Europe, assumedly due to the aircraft being able to attack
from lower altitudes due to minimal Japanese AA.

The TDR-1 in the film was actually designed as an "assault drone", being able to take-off, fly to
the target, drop its payload and then return and land to be used for further missions. By the time
it was deployed in Sep '44 though, all anyone wanted to do with it was to smash it into things.
This was the only sig line I could think of.
