PW data missing

Bloody Norton has deleted my beta version of AE, and though I have reinstalled it, its telling me that "PW data missing"

Do I need to do a fresh install or is there a way around it?

Apologies if its already been asked, but a search on here and on google only found one thread, which though telling me the problem was now solved, it didn't actually tell me how to do it.

Remember that in the Beta shortcut, it points to the Beta exe file (of course), but the "Start in" must point to the regular folder. "Start in" is how Windows knows to tell the Beta exe where to find all the other game files.

Encircled, did you try to update the install with the beta patch? If so, do you have several installs of AE on your computer? Just yesterday I had the PW data error on my computer. It appeared I had patched an installation on drive E, while the one I wanted was on drive C.
