Allied Corps Unit Names

Post by demyansk »

Hi,

I am playing a little Allied Corps and the names of the German Units are all messed up. I play a few mods and I use the Generic program of enabling and disabling the mods.

For instance a Tiger tank has this as a description 20th SE 15cm sFH 18 Opel

Plus a lot of the allied units have no names?
What do you think this is about?

as with all mods, it can or could alter stuff once a update is released, that's why the mod makers need to update the mods some times as well to the latest game version to work once a update has been released

Zak, Should I just un-install the allied corp game and reinstall? Then patch to 1.25?

If you are using GME (Generic Mod Enabler) then you only need to disable all the mods (assuming that you have correctly installed the GME program) and check if the issue persists.
Otherwise install 1.25.
This sound a mod issue. Probably it's not compatible with 1.25.

Hi,
I disabled my mods and it was messed up with the names of the units. If I reinstall the game, would that be okay?

Just go with a clean install?

I think lat week I was running the SS mod and can't remember which one before that, gets confusing.

Thanks f or the advice

Thanks Paulus, I will try this afternoon and reinstall the patch, I always get the mods to work but coming to think of it, I think unit names might have been messed up in the mods as well.

Do you know where the link is for the mod installation directions?

Thanks for your help
By the way, if I reinstall, can I just patch with the 1.25?

Just thinking, I applied the patch and continued with the campaign, perhaps I need to start over? I still think the unit names were messed up be for we the patch

Thanks

I think some of these things can carry over with the save file. So it's better to start a new campaign (or even just a scenario) and check if the same things happened.
