Does the game function with Windows 10?

Sovereignty: Crown of Kings is a turn-based fantasy strategy game for the PC. It offers a intuitive yet deep province system, allowing you to raise armies, conduct diplomacy, scout enemy battle lines, rally heroes to your banner, send them on quests, cast spells and go to war. In Sovereignty, the player chooses one of 35 Realms in a bid for dominance of the map. Play is conducted in a series of turns as a single player game. Each Realm has a unique culture and history, which translates directly into different play-styles. Each realm has its own mix of unit types and spell trees. Their diplomatic relations, economies and histories vary. A player may choose a new realm and experience the game in a very different way. Fantasy heroes, troops, races and spells complement the rise to power.

Does the game function with Windows 10?

Post by AlbertN »

Pretty simple and straightforward question.

I bought today the game - and it simply refuses to work.
I get to open the Menu to launch it, if I click on the game manual it opens it. If I click on the Mod Manager it opens a small window (which I did not bothered to check in detail right now).

I click "Play the game" and nothing happens. (Except the mouse cursor swirls - as per hints to loading - for a second or two).

yes,

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START" 2. click "run" 3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK" 4. check through the tabs and perform all tests 5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

dxdiag

I'd like to inform Windows 10 has no "RUN" option whatsoever (which was present in previous Windows before it turned into a hybrid OS for PC, Smartphones and whatnot).

I had to use the Search function to find it and launch it.

Actually, got it to work - not sure how precisely - at some point it started after a -STEAM- update (not a game update).

Alas, I've to say - after tinkering with the game for a few hours, I've the vibe I've trashed what I paid for it.

To add the Run command to the Start menu. Open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Taskbar and Start Menu. Click the Start Menu tab, and then click Customize.

Right click to open rather than left click and you should see it.
