Too damaged for flight operations

Post by Blond_Knight »

I bought AE friday, and played Coral Sea several times over the weekend.
Whats the indication that a ship is too damaged to conduct flight operations? Is it if the damage is red?

I believe a combined system/float in excess of 50 points curtails flight operations entirely. Don't have my manual handy, so going off of memory here. I don't think fire damage per se impinges flight operations other than contributing to flotation or system damage thereafter.

...plus any fire whatsoever = no flight ops, IIRC.
