Installation questions for Windows 8.1

Howdy folks,

A quick question on the process of installation on Windows 8.1.

Any prerequisites before install on 8.1?
Install 1.0 (do I do any compatibility changes?)
Install 2.02 (again any compatibility changes?)

OK on to fun!

Is there a master list of mods? I see some mentioned in the mods folders but wasn't sure if there was a master list - cause I'm a huge fan of tactical modern warfare so a Cold war mod would be right up my alley.
