Newb Question - how to deploy airborne troops

I'm a new player. This is only my third game. I'm playing Market Garden '44.

I'm trying to deploy airborne troops. There's a number of them in the part of the screen where the aircraft are located. I have captured an airfield. I looked at the manual, but I am still confused about how to do this. I'm sure there's some simple step I am missing.

There are a number of ways. First, the movement popup:
