File with the axis first turn done

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

How will you switch the save to a game vs AI?

I don't know.

But if it's a game against AI, I think I can switch the side via the preference menu, I think.

If the Axis player sets the game as Axis Human vs Soviet AI, then schascha can go into the preferences and switch the sides. I think he could also do it if it was a human vs human game also - as long as it is neither a PBEM or Server game.

Yes I think so.
But the problem is rrbill send me a file via the slitherine server, and I think I cannot use it to play a game against the AI

schascha proposes an interesting experiment and might ask for a Soviet response to certain Axis positions that I've developed, but I'm clueless about attaching my file to either email or slither/matrix PMs. My yahoo email wants document files only. If any w/clue, please post.

prob best to use a drop box file?

I agree its a nice way to spice up an AI game, and add a degree of uncertainty.

Should be no problem to exchange a savegame via email. I'd suggest to zip the savegame as some programs may not like the .sav file extension
