differance between Med bomber and Heavy Bomber

Post by guctony »

Is there any side benefits of being a heavy bomber in terms of accuracy and survivability over med Bombers. Or is it just a definition

Don't know about accuracy, but survivability is boosted by heavy bombers' superior durability over medium bombers. If you man B-17s with 99 morale pilots they should be unstoppable as the code checks durability/morale before a damaged bomber can be routed by enemy fighters.

Heavy bombers do not require to pass an air superiority check for the target in case of insufficient number of escorts.
