Surface Pro 3 and WitP question

Post by Numdydar »

I need a new laptop and I am seriously looking at a SP 3 instead. Of course if it can't play WitP then why bother [:D] ?

So I was wondering if anyone has tried it and what was it like?

Instead of a laptop, just a get a new Android device. Download the "WITP-AE" app from Google Play, and away you go!

The smaller screen takes a little getting used to, but it's nice to get turns back quicker while on the go!

I wish...

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

And I thought the SP 3's 13" screen was too small lol. Not sure if I want to downsize even further [:)]

What I found slightly annoying is that it automatically hits end-turn when the handset receives a call from 'wife'. Is there any known workaround for this issue except divorce?

I just bought a 30 inch monitor (I was working with a CRT until this spring). I think that is a bit small for this game - I don't even want to imagine trying this game on a small screen.

I've tried on my Surface Pro 2 and it seemed just fine, so unless the weird resolution turns out a problem (which it shouldn't since you can set it how you wish) it should be just fine.

Nice. Do you use a mouse or does the touch screen work?

The pen is my main input device when playing WitP-AE.
Sometimes I also used a bluetooth mouse or the trackpad (but I rarely play with the keyboard attached).
Touch works, but I prefer to use the touchscreen in combination with the pen (e.g. touch for scrolling, pen for clicking).

Trade in your MacBook Air and get up to $650** towards a Surface Pro

I find it funny [:D]
