Originally it was a 1-to-1 ratio. With some of the smaller countries, it may still be a 1-to-1 ration. I think with 1935 Italy, I've had the 6 SP platoon paired up with 3 SP trucks, and it didn't work. I had to go back up increase the truck SPs to 6.
It also depends on the size of truck; whether it be light, medium or heavy. Most medium and heavy class trucks can carry 2SP per SP, while light trucks can only carry 1SP per SP.
Nice and efficient way for JTCS to handle trucks + unit transport.
But, the high VP's for transport (especially trucks) will "punish" any commander who is unwise enough to run loaded transport into the LOS/LOF of enemy units!
