Cargo TF

Is there any advantage to creating these? You have fewer ship types than a transport - is there an advantage? Tried looking and didn't see anything on the topic.

You need cargo type to haul resources but they can haul fuel, oil, or supplies too. They are similar to transports though.

The main benefit is that it filters out xAPs and APs from the ship selection list making it easier to find the xAKs that you want to haul the cargo.

The tf icon is different too so it's better to find your true transport fleet in a huge hub like PH or Truk without checking all your cargo fleet. It's the same for tanker tf which could be cargo tf too.

It really eases the identification process.... It quickly answers the question of just what the TF is all about.

Also remember that the different TF types can react differently to threats, and make different decisions about routing. I would think that a transport and cargo fleet would have the same rules governing them, but who knows?

Threat tolerance is controllable by the player for all TF types.
