Hi all,

i just want if possible, if it exist a logic retreat with WITE?

i read the rules about the retreat but i don't understand the logic.

in reality, (and very often), when a combat unit lose a combat, it retreat toward their lines, their "sister units"...

in WITE, i just look that is not this result.

Very often, the units retreat toward a free hexagone and if this hexagone is toward the ennemi lines it is not problem.

Anybody can explain me why?

may be i have not clearly understand a rule?

thanks in advance.

A less than optimal simulation ?

but then it is still better than the alternatives available at this time.

(I suppose you could argue that retreating units are not always fully aware of enemy dispositions and could actually retreat in the the direction of other enemy positions, but then that behavior is probably more characteristic of routed units.)

hi gamesaurusrex,
you say about routed unit.

but before routed, the units can just retreat and it represents the majority about retreat because when a unit is routed, it retreat toward the friend front....
