Manual in another format?

Is there any way to get the manual in any format other than PDF? I find Adobe practically unusable, and as usual, it refuses to boot up on my PC. Can I just get the manual in a simpler format such as text? I need to read the manual to play the game, but I can't read the manual..... (yes, I've spent the last hour trying to fix Adobe, but no success).

Why don't you use another reader, not from Adobe. PDF-X view is very good.

Thanks, didn't realise there were others. Adobe isn't working at all, I'll try PDF-X. :)

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Adobe?
Should be pretty easy with Adobe Reader (assuming a recent version), may be a bit more complicated with the full Acrobat Suite.
