Havent played in a long time, but, I seem to remember a thread that explained what the letters and symbols meant in the lcu, ship, aircraft unit panel.
things like in an air unit panel, says attached to West Coast then has [S][R], what does the s and r stand for etc.

[S]=Static, can't move from location
[R]=Restricted, can move, but limited to a certain area. West Coast in this case.

To further clarify:

[S]= Can't be bought out with PP's, airgroups can't be transfered to bases with a different HQ and LCU's can't be loaded on to ships.
[R]= Same as [S], but can be switched to a unrestricted command with PP's.
