Return of the Shakturi - Issue with training forces?

I'm running Distant Worlds with Return of the Shakturi. No updates outstanding on that version.

My problem is that when the message to train planet forces comes up, it says will cost usually around 10,000 to train. Regardless of if I say Yes or No, money in the top right drops by about 200,000. Sometimes it doesn't, but more often than not, it just goes.

Seems like a bug tome, unless I@m missing something obvious.
