Gaz, you should see EIANW in the Private Development Forum below when you log in? Maybe Erik needs to refresh your access.

I have tried v1.20. Despite editor issues, the big screen works well.

Even i have to notice a very important thing. I'm a linux user and i test it in a vm, and works wonderful (just now i can play EIA in my linux laptop, and for me is a big step forward)

So Big Screen: Works nice even in a VM. Good job. It has the issue of not using "scalated" fonts, but if you know it, it goes great.

The Editor: Really i thing that some things should be "easy" to fix.

1.- Add a leader without problem: Including admiral or not, cavalry or not, senyority rank (A-D, E?) and the rests of stats. It currently adds a corp with a big red dot-> this seems a bug.
2.- Add a depot (same as leader, add a corp instead of a new depot)

3.- It would be desirable that corps, armys, generals, etc, would be in some order (to avoid corps between fleets and things like that)

And of course, "my" wish list that i have seen in many post here:

1.- Some kind of "kingdom configuration/multidistrict". When i say this, i'm considering kingdom without Special Rules (like a multidistrict). The kingdom should have a name, and the provinces it has in a list (like two sicilies). If kingdom is created, all his parts are doubled (like a multidistrict), and the corps of the kingdom would take precedence over the indidual ones or (for easinest). Other option is that certain minors could be the "start point" of a multidistrict and could add some minors/provinces as a part in the kingdom options (in a economic phase). For example if you control swedem and finland, you should in a economic phase (or political one) select sweden and pick finland to add, to get the same effect, and take all units of these countries (like Conferation of the Rhine), or even remove parts. It should be configurable (in the country stat, in the list of countries/provinces add a "expansion" option or thing like that. This would fix the polish problem too. Perhaps a General Rule to simulate many small one is better that not rule at all.

2.- Some kind of unit Start and End (to remove obsolete corps and generals, a must for a long scenario). We have the "start", but not the end.

quick question: is Matrix Games really serious ?!?

They still want 40 euros for the download version of Empire in Arms, are they serious ?!? It is an aged game, outdated by any means. I just joined a board game group playing EiA, that is the sole reason for the interest in this PC game, but not for this ridiculous high price!

Any chance I found an old price which has been realisticly altered ?!?

Hi pzgndr!. It seems that you are one of the few that seems to post in this forum in months.. Do you know how to add units (or something) in editor (not editing existing ones), and not get "garbage" pic/values/weirdeness.. I'm trying to put the board similar to EiH (so i need a lot of poland corps) and i only get garbage units or nothing...

I sent you a pm. A lot of these editor issues and other game issues were identified long ago. Some things work ok in the editor and some things don't. It's frustrating, and unless Marshall Ellis ever gets back to making improvements we're kinda stuck with what we have. Sorry.

Would love to get back into BETA testing but..

I have tried several times with e-mail and now the forums.. My Game will not work..

I can not continue or select chits for battle, the buttons are below the screen so you can not click them. The rest runs fine up until then...

Until I have a fix I have wasted $65.00

Hey!. What OS do you have and what video resolution/card?
I have got it working on W7, on Win XP, and on Win XP under a Oracle VM in linux
The main issue is to put the fonts size on 100%, normal, etc. The chits one are new for me. What country are you playing? can you put a compressed savegame to test?
