What's that green/red blinking crosshairs?

What's that green/red blinking crosshairs?

Sometimes units have a blinking red or green crosshairs on them. What does that signify?

Just a wild guess but snipers have them in thier crosshairs

Acquired markers if I'm not mistaken. Ordnance weapons get a bonus to hit on subsequent shots at the same target.
The only problem with a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.

This is correct.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"
