Do you have replacements turned on?

The note for the addition of this states: "Added option on group and LCU reinforcement screen to turn off replacements if game originally started with gloabal replacements ON."

The game apparently started with them all set to on.

I went into the reinforcement screen and setting it to off, and now it isn't even selectable.

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't you turn replacements/upgrades on or off from the ground unit and air unit screens at the top of the window? That's how I do it.
It seems these screenshots are from the intelligence info part.

Does that make sense[&:]

I am talking about turning off all upgrades and replacements for units that haven't hit the map yet.

It is set by the Japanese player at start. If your an Allied player in PBEM, you cannot change it.

That's not true, it was changed a looong time ago in a Beta, might even be in the latest official. Maybe it got broken?

Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't you only be able to change the replacements when they are in play not when they're yet to arrive hence no turning on/off???

I think michaelm needs to look at this. I checked and in game vs the AI you get the same message no matter which side you are playing and the same message appears whether you have Air and LCU reinforcements on or off. There is never a button to change the setting and there is no place in the preferences screen to tell you what the state of the switch is.

You're right, you can't set replacement on/off if the unit aren't in game.
They come with their own default TOE, only after you can manage it.

It is only available if there are any incoming group/land units with the replacement option on.
Added to help PBEM games which were started with the options ON without realizing, and needed to be turned off.
--
The starting option for replacements applies to all group/land units when the scenario is set up.

That is when I used it, and it was a tremendous relief! [&o]

Thank you for all of the responses.

So, I can only do this if it is a PBEM game, not AI?
