Mission logic problem

Post by spookyer »

Hello

I setup a ASW patrol mission and selected 3 Orions for the mission. Patrol options 1/3 rule. Two aircraft were ready and the 3rd aircraft was to be ready in 4 hrs. I noticed no aircraft launched. I went and removed the aircraft ready in 4 hours from the mission and then one of the ready aircraft launched.
This seems like incorrect behaviour here. Just because one of the aircraft is not currently ready shouldn't be a reason to hold off starting the mission. That aircraft may not be required to launch for many hours and would most likely be ready by the time it was needed. However there were aircraft ready to launch and they did not do so because not all three were ready.

I've also noticed this occurring many times and it would be good to have this minor bug fixed. I have simply commanded the first 'ready' aircraft assigned to the (patrol) mission to take off. From that point on the mission runs as if all aircraft were ready when the mission initially began.

Dito, have seen this quite often and used Maromak's workaround, never thought to point it out..
