I'm just curious about the degree to which new features (such as the "Sea Control" missions, new side doctrines, new evasion behaviors, etc.) are compatible with scenarios written before these change were added to the game. Will there be a problem with "broken" scenarios as the game continues to develop and mature?

I don't know enough about CMANO scenario design to guess whether this will be a problem or a non-issue.

This is one main reason im holding off on building scenarios. Things are changing fast and for the better, but at the expense of scenario development. Thats just my two bits.

I would love to start some good ol days scens (think NATO-WARPAC)

Hi Paul. These additions don't break old scenarios although probably a good idea to update the scenarios with the new stuff at one point. We'll likely be batch updating to match the current db as well. There are tons of new units in the next DB release btw.

Thanks!

Mike

Post patch will probably be a good time do that. I know the dev team is planning to focus on playing and building content for a bit. Its important that we do that periodically so that we understand our game and get a return for all the work we've done on it.
