Nicely done. I'm unsure if I should read as I haven't played this scenario, might be cheating.
Have: Socks. Deodorant. £2 gloves. Mince pies.
Want: Line formation banned until I give a specific order to use line formation. Troops that don't take lie-ins until 0800 unless ordered to never rest.

Very interesting. Thanks. I've actually never played this scenario as Axis, so it really is interesting, and nicely done. Many thanks.

Where did you get the Lego soldiers? I mean which series? My son would love them (he's 8)! Did they come from a Raiders of the Lost Arc set?

It's a great AAR, well done mate.

I have also had a few problems with defeating armour with infantry in forests, and close terrain, on occasion.
This you would expect if they had no anti tank capability.
When they are bristling with PzFaust, and PzSchreck, hand held anti tank weapons, and well within range, but not using them, it is a bit baffling as to what is going on?

I agree that battles in close terrain are sometimes strange. When an enemy armoured coy without inf support is devastating friendly inf forces in town or forest during night then I don´t know how react... :(
