OK, so I finally entered the 21st century and bought a 60" plasma with full regalia.

What (war) movie should christen this baby (that I can download from Amazon or the like)?

Zulu! should only be watched if you watch Zulu Dawn beforehand. I highly reccomend them though. Both are excellent and historically accurate.

Why not "Saving Private Ryan" on Blue Ray; "The Pacific" or "Band of Brothers" are also treated well with Blue Ray technology.

Gettysburg.

My all time favorite movie ever made, or a Diane Lane movie..either should suffice.

For the effects of a good depth charging....'Das Boot'. You might just head for the basement and miss the rest of the movie though.[;)]

I second Chicken boy's recomendations!!...you must however eject wife and kids from house if you have full surround sound, or, look for a good divorce lawyer.

There's only one film and one actor that I know of that can do justice to a 60" Plasma with surround sound an' $%^&.

Pearl Harbor starring Ben Affleck [&o][&o]
Now Maitland, now's your time!
