Hi nice folks,

I just have notice that except first PH attack all my carriers strikes are executed in PM phase.
So question is: How to force my flattops to strike at AM phase ? I have 20% DB and 10% TB (with pilots "Search skill" between 65-70) on search mission so it is not detection issue.

Morning strikes are a function of all the elements that determine combat, including but not limited to distance to target, unit morale, commander initiatives, weather, etc. Trust me in that you will have plenty of the combat in the AM. Keep in mind that distance to target is a big factor not to be underestimated, so if you are sure you want as much out of your CV's as possible, try to get as close as you dare to the enemy.

Some night search helps as well, thus giving a DL to enemy TFs during that phase, some of which may continue into the morning.

Tom, I think your settings are just right. The morning or afternoon (or both) strikes are, 99% of the times, connected with weather in the starting and destination hexes. Not much you can do about that.

I usually set my KB's float planes in this manner: 50% flying at night at 2,000 feet, 50% flying at day at 6,000 feet. The DBs and TBs add their search planes with a 10% for each groups. Seems to work fine for me.
