I have been having some fun with this scenario playing as the Soviets...I am working on a full AAR for my blog but it has actually become quite a daunting task.

This is the best I can manage with a two pronged thrust and an end run to pin the 11th Cav at the bridges (which it did). Although there was not an epic slugfest, this was because I kept the Americans frozen out of the Sector 6 and would not present them the opportunity to use their superior equipment and personnel to take victory points by eliminating my inferior conscripts.

Thanks...

In what I believe is grid 3,1, there appears to be a major stack of enemy units: is this the AI holding a reserve component that has yet to be committed to battle (if this is modeled in the original game)?
