Well, artillery under direct control is always facing north. I think it is a problem with the auto facing feature. The facing of the unit is even north, when they fire towards the south.

Does it really matter? The distance rings are always the same, so maybe it is just a "programming shortcut."

Good observation because I may be wrong, and it may actually matter.
