new install question

I'm thinking of redoing my harddrive on my laptop & wiping it clean & then reinstall things. Will all I need is my original install file (original release 1.0079) along w/ just the latest beta along w/ any art mods etc or do I need an intermediate patch (IIRC I've got all patches from day 1 though not all betas that Michael has been doing). I seem to remember some database updates in the patches as well as AI/scenario things along the way. I know of Andy Macs scen updates in the other topic but I've not installed those yet. Anything else I might need???
