Stuck in off-map limbo

At least, that's what it looks like from the screenshot below. I'm on v 1.06.1108r9.

1) Is it known what causes it? I believe I attempted to re-route these guys when they were underway, but am not sure.
2) Can I fix it myself, or am I stuck waiting for them to ... abort? Finish?


I have daily save files if that is of interest to people.

Cannot help you, but Bullwinkle58 somewhere in his AAR mentions that one should never change destination for off-map TFs so I guess he was in the same predicament as you are.

Nope, not me. Never did it. Ask Canoerebel. [:)]

The devs have for years said to not change orders on off-map TFs. They aren't in the normal x,y hex code realm, but instead in some kind of consult-the-table-of-distances segment of the exec file. When you spin them around they get "lost", but only sometimes, which is why some players keep doing this. Sometimes you get away with it. Sometimes you get bit.

This looks like a bit.

The betas have better success in handling the change of direction.
