I am used to setting up a convoy to load supplies in its home port, moving to the destination and unloading then returning to the home port.

BUT...

Is there a way to set up a convoy starting in the destination location. IE moving empty from the destination, loading in the source location then returning to the home port and unloading (and then repeating if it is a CS convoy)?

Second question. If I have both cargo ships and tankers in a convoy and I tell it to load fuel will it load fuel on the tanker and then fill up the cargo ships with supplies. I have noticed that there is no way you can "tell" a convoy to load multiple types of material. I am assuming that if you have to move both fuel and oil that you have to have two separate convoys. Is it also correct that a troop transport will only load supplies in the empty space and nothing else.

If you tell it to load fuel, the convoy will load fuel on both the cargo ships and the tankers. To do what you want to do here, tell the convoy to load supplies. That will load supplies on the cargo ships and fuel on the tankers.

Make the 'destination' your home base then set up a CS returning empty.

Yes, but it's fuel/supplies or it's oil/resources.
