If you have it turned on, ATG automatically snaps a screenshot at the beginning and end of your turn. By default that will be in those very small hexes. Not really suitable for posting about your battles. My NATO mod changes the screenshot feature to standard size hexes.

For my screenshots I use a variety of tools: EasyCapture, Faststone Screen Capture and Snagit. Some folks just use the Print Screen button on their keyboard and dump the capture into Windows Paint.

Phatkarp I use greenshot. I can make a screenie and save into a file I keepon my desktop, easier to find that way. Also after every screenshot I get to see what the screenie looks like before I save or delete.

I just use the screenshot functionality (alt+prntscrn, i think).

Then paste into windows paint.

Crop the image, then add text and such for collaboration with teammates.

In the random games i create, i also turn on the large size auto-screenshots that are taken at the start and end of AT turns if you have that option enabled. I also share this with teammates so they can see the whole picture.

I think Meanfcker has some other superior method of sharing info, perhaps he can share.

Guys, if my memory serves me right, there was some way to make "every-turn-auto-screenshots" with big resolution (several times the default size). Could you kindly advise how to do it?

In the editor: Settings, RulVars, Engine Graphics, RulVar 850
0=tiny hex
1=standard hex
2=large hex

That is from memory so hopefully I remembered correctly. My NATO Mod implements standard size auto screenshots by default.
