Turn 38 should be the first turn of production for the f2 model. Instead, 6 more fs were delivered to the Eastern front.

Did you check the event log to see if they were recovered from the repair pool?
It will list how many were repaired and how many were not repairable.
Should break down by AFV how many were returned

e.g.:

quote:

NORMAL REPLACEMENT SUB-SEGMENT
23055 men were returned to Soviet Union's manpower pool
1846 men are added to Soviet Union's front line units

GROUND ELEMENTS REPLACEMENTS
___ Soviet Union ___
T-26 M1933 : + 0 added to the front line units || - 2 returned to the pool
T-26 M1937 : + 9 added to the front line units || - 49 returned to the pool
T-60 M1941 : + 44 added to the front line units || - 2 returned to the pool
T-28 M1932 : + 0 added to the front line units || - 1 returned to the pool
Matilda II : + 0 added to the front line units || - 1 returned to the pool
T-34 M1941 : + 0 added to the front line units || - 11 returned to the pool
T-28 M1940 : + 0 added to the front line units || - 1 returned to the pool
KV-1 M1941 : + 0 added to the front line units || - 4 returned to the pool
KV-2 M1940 : + 0 added to the front line units || - 1 returned to the pool
T-38 M1937 : + 0 added to the front line units || - 2 returned to the pool
T-40 M1941 : + 0 added to the front line units || - 1 returned to the pool
BT-7M M1939 : + 1 added to the front line units || - 3 returned to the pool
BT-7 M1937 : + 0 added to the front line units || - 1 returned to the pool

So far - no f2s have been produced - period. Looks like an off by one error. Common in programming.

you may see it more
specially when time is 1 or 2 days only in the month
I look at it as not having time to product yet

I have noticed that on the first turn that a given model should be produced sometimes the old one is still produced (but not to full capacity), or the new one is produced (but not to full capacity). Why is that, I don't know. This happens for all types of production: AFVs, planes.

edit: I assumed as cpt flam - that it takes into accounts number of days in given month that had a chance to pass in given turn (or a disruption when switching to new model).

When an AFV or aircraft upgrades to a new AFV or aircraft the initial factory size is equal to the factory size of the AFV or aircraft it is upgrading from or smaller if the old factory size is greater than the build limit of the new AFV/aircraft. In the case of the Panzer IVf2, the Panzer IVf had a build limit of 3 so the initial factory size for the Panzer IVf2 is 3. The next turn of production the factory size would be 4 due to its expansion rate of 1. The factory will keep expanding until it reaches the build limit of 10.

As for the Panzer IVf factory not switching over to producing Panzer IVf2s on the turn it should, if this is WAD it is not documented in my version of the manual (not necessarily the latest). I am about to reach turn 38 in a test game I am running and will let you know if the factory upgraded correctly.

Based on my current game with the latest version, what appears to happen when a factory upgrades to a new AFV/aircraft is that the factory converts on the appropriate turn but the new production doesn't show up in the pool until the following turn. For new factories or when there is a gap in production between the end of the old item and the start of the new, nothing should show up in the pool on the turn the factory comes on line.
