I am a complete beginner with the event editor and have been messing around a couple of hours to create seemingly simple event. However results are zero.

I would like to create the following event: at the beginning of each turn certain SFTgroups in all HQs loose a certain amount of readiness.

I found two possible candidates who would help in doing so: 1) CheckUnitIsHQ 2) ExecUnitRdnModify.

This is how I tried to combine them. What I am doing wrong?

This event will check the tempvar value (which in this case is 0 because it is undefined from the start) unit, if it is a HQ. I think you have set it to do something, in case it is not, but I never used this function so i really don´t know.

If the unit is NOT a HQ, it will give -70 readiness to unit 0 (that is the unit you have chosen) and all the people in that unit, that are SFT 6.

At least that is how i read it.

This is how I would do it... although, i haven't tested it... and the 1 in line 1 might need to be a 0.

It worked, you are a genius, thanks! Only it was needed to execute the event not Early Start Turn but Late Start Turn. Otherwise it produced strange results.

Nah, not a genius, but flattery is always nice. Let us just say that I know my way around the event editor :)
