And my infantry companies have rifle ammo again!

I think this might solve the last piece of the puzzle of 'why isn't anyone actually dying in these battles?'

That was fixed last patch..


No it wasn't.

"Revise the cap on emergency resupply ammo qty, ensuring that units get at least something. These two fixes prevents the never ending loop of units requesting emergency ammo that they don't need and also of not getting ammo they do need. "

Increased combat lethality doesn't work if all the rifle companies run out of ammo by 10am and spend the rest of the day throwing rocks at each other.


e: a good litmus test is to Joe's Bridge under each of the last three game versions (because that's a small uncomplicated power drive up a road). With each subsequent version it becomes noticeably easier for the Allies, which is well and good because they have a tank battalion facing off against light infantry.

The combat issue previously was due to suppression changes which where fixed last patch..this must be something else again then.

Of course but units ran out of ammo casualties wouldn't be as high as they are now, seems logical because how should a unit inflict damage without being able to fire their weapons.

Yeah I understand that. Just pointing out the casualty issue we found was something fixed last time around..this is a different thing altogether..obviously it will effect casualties.
