Just noticed a few little errors in the 43 scenario. First, the MP of all Finnish units and the 23rd Panzer Division haven't been zeroed out, despite being frozen for 4 turns. Second, 17th Army at that time was under command of Army Group A, furthermore there was no "Crimea Army". The units under the current Crimea Army were as far as I know directly under Army Group A. Third, 7th Independent Army has not been frozen for 4 turns like every other Soviet unit in the North.

I'll point out that the Soviet partisans are running amok behind the frozen AGN.

Interesting observations, appreciated.

I play c43 vs. AI, either side, and find it playable (unlike c42.)

I'd say fix it up with the editor, but couldn't do it myself. Goes to the issue of a new, improved editor in v2.0!

On the 27beta I started a 43 scenario as German verses computer AI (normal)- did not attack. The AI in its turn barely attacked and vacated many front line hexes.

Odd? Not many games but I remember effective AI Sov attacks in the '43 scenario after my GHQ attacks petered out. With GHQ AI, the attacks not very effective.

The AI really does need a bit of a boost to attack so either set it to Challenging or Custom with settings of 100 vs 110 (AI). You'll find that things will improve.

The editor is just like the main game - simple when you know how - honestly once you get into it most things aren't that difficult. Try it and if you get stuck post in the Scenario Design section and I'll do my best to help out. Just remember to back things up as there is no 'undo' function.
