Just started playing PC recently and I'm wondering why if I can get a DV at Moscow 43 I don't go to US east scenario but overlord. What does the red/ green shading mean in the campaign library tree? I can't find any key that describes the differences. any help would be appreciated...

The color stands for an alternative version of the scenario. Some scenarios change depending on how you performed previously. Like there are two versions of Overlord.

For a more thorough answer and better campaign tree check out this thread please.
