Sorry, by advance, for my poor english, I'm french.

I'm playing a campaign as soviet, we are at the 19° turn. My adversaire had stopped attacking till the 15°turn and he started building some fortifications and now we have a front like this:

I have nerver play the blizzard attack before and I ask me which is the best method to destroy the forti level 3

I know usually people put 2 sappers and a tank bn in their cavalry corps.
But in this case isn't a good idea to add one 230mm (siege) art with the sappers ??
Maybe just put some of them in my HQ ?
I know, it cost a lot armement pt and ammo.

My state of ARM production

P.S I don't understand why only 247 factories produce and not 352-26= 326

You can't assign art SU to combat units (except F.R.) so an HQ is the only possible place.

As to how to crack lvl3 forts, sappers and large numerical superiority is needed, but even then it can be tough until you have some artillery divisions available (late '42). During December '41 the Axis will be penalized, so it's doable then.

But you have some snow turns to survive after the mud as well, so take care.

26 is the number of ARM with 50 or more damage, those with less than 50 can produce, with probability (50-dam)x2%

Edit: Thanks morvael!

It looks like something I know....

I think your best strategy for the winter is:
- send all your Inf Div on the Black Sea coast
- send all your aircraft explore the north pole
- send your tank div look at the japanese

And if you follow my keen advises, I will be the first GHC able to advance through the blizzard

In fact as you don't have played the SHC in blizzard, you underestimate the effects on the GHC!!!

Bien amicalement, ta victime du blizzard!
