Status: offline 		mine was a bottle of something called Hi Brau. I think maybe it was a local wisconsin beer. I was young (maybe too young) and living in northern IL at the time.

Status: offline 		I remember drinking Billy Beer once in college. It was like drinking liquid stomach flu. I would have to say my all time worse was Old Speckled Hen, the name pretty much describes the taste.

That would have to be Lucky Lager. The little riddles in caps were the only good thing about it. I routinely had a case of the runs after drinking a bunch of those.


When we were young and poor that was a treat to get a six pack of Lucky. It was cheap.


Yep, that was the reason we were drinking it too, it was like around $2.50 for a twelver in the early 1980's IIRC. But if you drank 12 boy, you'd pay for it the next day.

Status: offline 		National Bohemian at the racetrack in Laurel, Maryland. Absolutely horrible, tasted like soapy dishwater. Second worst was Orion when I was stationed at Torii Station, Okinawa. It was better than the skunked beer that was sold in the store on base though it gave one hellacious hangover.

I cite this as example Two truck loads of young guys carting hay, ie loading two trucks with hay bales in the middle of a CHB NZ summer ie 30plus degree C... we finish the paddock, 3-4 truck loads eachof 180 to 220 dry dusty thistle filled bales each load and the farmer meets us in the haybarn with a crate of twelve quart bottles of leopard. When we left there were still 4 bottles in the crate untouched and I have to admit that last of my one bottle was unceremoniously dumped between two bales

GENTLEMEN, I THINK WE HAVE A WINNER... OR Loser as the case may be
