No worries DP88 ;-)

Also, I've been thinking about having weekly tutorial sessions for newbies. I'd use Teamviewer8 and use the conference mode where players could log on and ask questions and see me make some (good and bad moves)... Not the expert by any means but something I'm thinking of floating ...

Can we long term newbies join in?

I bookmarked this thread. I think I am on Dec. 13th and have been just reading all the combat reports. I'm finally getting a feel for the game, even though I know nothing about the mechanics. Sarduakar's AAR is a big help. Until I read his AAR I did not know I could move British and Aussie units, I thought I was just the US and Chinese ground units. So I'm the Allies, not the Americans? I think my biggest mental block is understanding how oil and fuel works in the game.

Ever thought about doing more videos that covers a lot of topics?

Maybe ones that folks take for granted, and they are actually doing them wrong? Reaction, cap vs escort, low naval bombing, straffing, patrol do not retire vs retirement allowed when bombarding, refueling at sea, merge, follow, how to set it up to unload an entire taskfroce in one phase during an invasion......simple things like that.

V-good idea there Jeff, on the serious side I think we need a primer on operational strategy. I find that with most newbies and a lot of the experienced players; a distinct lack of knowledge in the art of operational warfare. You can see even in some of the veteran AAR's; that there is a lack of understanding of three-dimensional power project. Along with the science of forward operational planning in sequence, and inter-theater cooperation.

May I be so bold as to suggest our to resident experts, Professors Alfred, and Canoerebel.
