Status: offline 		As a vet of board games im used to(as the axis player seeing my production points /political points expire as the game goes on,but here in this game(fantastic as it is)i seem to be lost.

Q1,where do i look to see manpower avalilable to losses incured

Q2,as above-re-Oil/fuel,left/supplies ,etc

Understand all apart from above.

Please inform me if i need to stand aside for younger players.

an old hand at-3rd reich/squad leader/Anzio/blah,blah,Avalon hill/spi,god im old! Hats off to all you guys that went from board games to computer without a hich, but me,well help

Status: offline 		WitE offers a lot of shortkeys.
Q1: hit L key = losses, O key = order of battle with overall figures,
Q2: P key = production screen, scroll until you see "special" which gives you the overall figures for eg manpower and armaments. Supplies: you see them for each unit (click the units symbol on the map) in percent of requirements.

Status: offline 		I think a lot of us went from board games to computer. I've heard at least a dozen here mention playing the old SPI WITE- which means they gotta be at least 50, if not 60 years old.
Just enjoy not having to keep track of all the $hit you had to on board games.

Shortcut keys I used the most:
~ It draws lines from your HQ to its units.
f toggles forts on and off
t toggles units on and off
c brings up commanders report
z will toggle unit display from Offense CV/MP to Offense CV/Defensive CV

Status: offline 		Yes AFV some of us are 60 but as they say "If you reach age 50 and haven't grown up - you don't need to"
I'm as far as possible from a micro manager so let the AI handle it. But if you want to see a units supply stats then you can set it to show green/orange/red or click on the units icon to the right of the screen for more detailed info on supply/fuel/losses etc
Can you imagine how many counters would be needed and the size of the map if this was an SPI monster game! You would need to hire a team to manage the stacking for you

Status: offline 		~ still works, you'll see it to the left of the '1/!' key, above tab, if you have a standard keyboard.

As to simon c., this game in particular is a more radical shift from board games to computer games. The first time you go through the "Great Freeze of 1941-42" is a really rude awakening from pretty much anything I have experience playing Germans in any other game. If you can wrap your head around the idea the computer takes care of all the little details, and you can't decide to make all the little details, this game is very rewarding in the long run.
