Didn't know about these. One was taken over be an ex army major as a sovereign state...Sealand..!!


Cool place to live if you had a boat etc etc or a helicopter.

I remember reading about these years ago. Someone moved into one of them and declared it his own country. Kinda like Hawkeye and BJ declaring Rosie's Bar to be named "Rosie Land" in MASH.

Sealand got invaded and then recaptured. Paddy Roy Bates only died in October last year. It's all here...
