Status: offline 		Suppose that rabaul based planes detects a a possible CV TF (USN), is this information shared by a distant CV TF (JPN) so that the carrier commander increases the DL of this target?

Status: offline 		Yes, detection level is shared by all parties. For example, if your air ASW discovers and raises the DL of a sub, then your local surface ship assets are much more likely to attack the sub.

Status: offline 		Yes, note that you should not bench your Carrier planes from Search because you have Float Planes in a nearby base. It's happened to me more than once, where a patrolling DB successfully attacks and hits an enemy carrier pre battle, just as they did at Santa Cruz.

For this reason I always maintain 10-20% of my carrier DBs on search.
