Many years ago, I used to wake up to one of the local radio channels that carried Paul Harvey's syndicated "The Rest of the Story" broadcast in the very early mornings. I remember him telling this story and later found out it was entirely true and that it is a rare glimpse into the human element in war. And now you know...the rest of the story...good day! [8D]

That was was a great, great story.  Never knew about it.
