And the point is made as to why I oppose any end runs around any amendment. If a president can bypass the second amendment then the first(freedom of speech) can just as easily be crushed.

Violent games are not the problem. My two sons grew up playing hideously violent games and they did not kill anyone. I pee-pee on his ideas.

It's a study, not a law or even an attempt to regulate it. No need to blow it out of proportion, or even its conclusion. I would say the worst thing is that it's pissing 10 mil down the drain because how could you ever definitely find a connection? Basically, it will find what the researcher wants to find.

I don't think it will even look at wargames, at most only briefly. Rockstar games like GTA and such, along with FPS games will probably be the focus.

It used to be rock and roll that was the problem. Then long hair. Then drugs and free love. Then horror films. Then heavy metal music. Then punk rock. Then video games and probably 'porn and online gambling' is next.

Status: offline 		The alleged connection between video game violence and real life acts of violence has been 'studied' since before Columbine. No connection exists. Study after study demonstrates this. More ablative political armor for the President to appease his core constituents.
