1. I believe that the AE team had to leave the original devices in the game due to some sort of copyright issue and that they simply made the delay on all of them 9999. Since these devices aren't doing anything but taking up valuable slots, is it OK for modders to delete them? Is there any sort of copyright issue or whatever if a modder deletes them?

2. Is there a way to give the IJA and IJN different base symbols? In other words do both IJA and IJN nationalities use the same base symbol .bmp?

1) I don't there would be a problem, though I think some of the original devices may have been reused.

2) They draw the icons from the same file. I suppose I could have done it a bit different, but that's the way it ended up getting done.

As far as devices, if a device has a "delay" of 9999 does that mean it wasn't used or is that not necessarily the case?
