I seem to be completely unable to fly recon as Finland.

I was really excited to get the new Myrsky II recon unit in August 44, assigned it to a Finnish airbase but I am still unable to fly any recon.

Note I also have not been able to use my bombers as transports as Finland either.

This is a server game if someone from 2by3 wants to take a look?

Basic information - yes, the planes show 0% travel; they are at an airbase with good support and they are a few hexes from the front. They don't fly on normal recon or on "shift" recon with the airbase selected. (note I have pulled all the Finnish bombers back into reserve, no point in having them using AV support anymore).

What's the user names in your server game? What scenario is it and approximate turn number? Are your airgroups meeting the minimum required to fly percentage for your air doctrine setting?

Just in case, Finnish air units can't target hexes they are prohibited to move.

Correct - I am actually only targeting hexes just north of Lake Ladoga (it is late 44 and the defensive line starts at the northern tip of the Lake and is 30 miles long in this sector).

Pavel figured it out. Your airbase is on Heavy Woods so aircraft won't fly. Must be light woods, clear or city. You need to move your airbase. In WitW, we have fixed airbases on the map so this is not an issue.

Ah, excellent. I did not know this and it seemed like fighters were intercepting but they must have been from the other airbase.
