I have just noticed that moving my tanks cost alot more than the 5 fuel per hex, per tank, as shown in the stats.

i.e moved 4 tanks into friendly jungle, one hex, uses 50 fuel, also when attacking an adjacent hex, the 4 tanks use 60 fuel units in movement plus the combat fuel use.

4 tanks attacking for 5 combat round use between 500 and 600 units of fuel including movement cost

Moving into enemy hexes cost more than the 5 per tank.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I am using the latest patch.
Could someone check this out

It is not a bug, but the fuel rules can give a bit strange results when moving into high-ap cost hexes. The fuel consumption is per 10 action points used, not per hex.

I think this bar between map and "toolbar", where AP cost for moving is displayed, is a good place to display oil cost too.

Using the consumption rate as established by ATG Germany in WW2 could not have afforded most of its aircraft or armored vehicles, if we are to go by the amount of oil they normally have as a Country.
