One says 41-45 campaign and the other says 41-45 campaign Alt VC260, what is the difference?

Standard gives victory to Axis if they hit 290VC, the other sets the threshold lower at 260VC.
Also the end dates are different, AltVC260 gives the Soviets less time to capture Berlin.

I think most players play the Alt 260 scenario now - gives the German something to hope for in 42 and ends the ridiculous September 45 campaign pain.
