Here's my deployment for my forces. My plan is to send 103rd up the railroad tracks. That seems the best way to minimize exposure for forces. Here's the cards i've drawn to start. The bottom shot is of the Russian forces i can see. The enemy appears after deployment is finished.

I forgot to mention earlier if you read the scenario description the Russians get 2 points for taking out Lt.Weiss and Sgt.Esser so i will be trying to keep them out of harms way if possible. Playing a game action by action is very interesting to me, you defiantly have to prioritize your choices. Do I rally my shaken squad, do i advance that squad, do i need to throw a hasty defense or do I take that high percentage cherry shot at the enemy unit.Things could defiantly change after the enemy takes there action. I'm learning....slowly :-]

The enemy surprisingly advances forward. The victory locations weren't occupied at start, but I see the enemy moving toward them. My Mg's on each side of the tracks score a hit.

I start moving my forces toward the objectives up the track, the enemy occupies the objectives. Well, well well, there's an atg on one of the objectives. Taking that gun out is going to be a priority. I use some cap to increase my roll and take a shot at 2 mg's in one hex....and miss..damn dice. I see an opportunity to take a unit out so i bring the 64th out of their position and advance, i use a group attack.....which fails. I use a card to give a unit some random AP between 1 and 6, the unit gets 4 and i use it to try to finish off an enemy unit.....and fail...damn dice. The unit with the star is the one i used the card on. End of round 1

round 2

you can see in the top shot that i'm able to place my reinforcements anywhere on the map.
bottom shot it where i placed them, that enemy was hidden until my reinforcement were placed, surprise, surprise. The new card i drew this turn.
I forgot to mention i used a cap last turn to help give me the initiative going into turn 2, it worked i'm first.

So the bottom shot is the situation before i move. This game has interesting choices every turn, here's what my choice are.
1.Do i fire at or attack this enemy, if i don't will he take me out?
2.Do i group attack here?
3.Do i move on the ATG?
4.Do i attempt a rally?

So I choose to go after the ATG. I lose one of my reinforcement units and another unit takes a hit and my attack on the ATG fails..the dice aren't with me.

well alot happened quickly.I think the fact that i got the hell kicked out of me by ATG's in other scenario's clouded my judgement a little [;)].

1.I use cap and take a shot at the ATG...and score.
2.This didn't go as well, i group attacked the hex i shared with the enemy unit. I fail and lose a unit and the other unit takes a hit.
3.I group fire and take out an enemy unit.

bottom shot i use a card and have success, ATG is no more.

END OF ROUND SHOT.

The dice were hard on me this round, i did take out 3 enemy units, but lost 2. My rallies failed. I brought Sgt. Esser out of cover to attack an enemy unit and i messed up and change his facing by accident and didn't have enough AP's to fire or attack and my cap is gone....damn. The enemy receives reinforcements at start of round 3.

ROUND 3

First thing i do is slap a hasty defense on my unit on the objective, I figure there going to want it back. The enemy takes that opportunity to fire and score a hit on SGT. Esser, remember i screwed up his facing and the enemy shot him in the azz. My new card is an Auto Rally.

The enemy got reinforcements last turn and i'm sure there making their way toward me from the right.I shoot and kill the enemy unit on another objective and take it under control. The enemy moves on to the other objective hex.I try to rally Sgt. Esser but you can't rally when you share a hex with the enemy, that situation gets dealt with and then it takes 2 rally attempts to rally Sgt.Esser, his ap's and the auto rally card.I attempt to rally another unit, but fail.

I move my LMG into the street facing down the road, the expected direction of advance of the enemy. The Lmg has spotty LOS down that road but no sign of the enemy yet. I change the facing on Esser and move my units on the right up to help clear the one objective and make my move on the last objective. I can't see the enemy reinforcement yet, but i feel pressure to secure the objective so i can get into defensive positions when the enemy arrives.I move the LT. to a building on the right and move my unit at the top to building closer so they can put some fire on the enemy up there if needed. This is how the round ended.

Round 4
start of round 4 position.
i'd like to clear those starred enemy positions and maybe the unit with the circle and secure all the objectives, and await the enemies reinforcement. I'm going to be bringing up the lmg with the square on it.

This is the start of round 5.

you can see i only got 1 cap, and a new no cost action card. I was wondering about the +1 toward initiative, i spent that cap point during round 1 and it has stayed +1 for every round and i have went first since round 3. still no sign of enemy reinforcements.

I have question about the shot below. The cost to fire in the top shot is 2, bottom shot is the cost to fire when i hover over that unit, same cost when i hover over the other enemy unit. Is this right, the cost is variable depending on the target and you have to hover over enemies to find out the cost?

The top shot is the numbers for your LMG unit, the bottom is the numbers for the Soviet Rifle to shoot at you.
