Hi,
Was playing around with this game again and I seem to have forgotten how to do airstrikes. I can place the target indicator on the hex to be attacked successfully. I make sure the hex is in LOS of a friendly unit. Then INVARIABLY the next turn or so my mission gets canceled!

What am I doing wrong? I tried making sure there were enemy units to be attack there too.

Any help appreciated,

Never mind. Sigh. right after I posted I figured out it was being able to see the target hex and there being a unit there as well.

Hi lparkh

Airstrikes also have something to do with a percentage probability of getting one. I think I read somewhere in the manual that "anytime an airstrike is called for there is a 65% probability of a hit" now it helps if you can see the original target hex but don't assume that will be the hit hex. The airstrike may drift and in most cases it does including, dare I say your own troops.

Hope this helps!

Big Ivan
